In his incarnation, Jesus welcomes all of humanity and our human experience into his presence, into his being. Jesus knows what it's like to be a person. To be a complex human being with thoughts and feelings and everything going awry inside you. He understands us.

We don't have to qualify to be in God's presence

God doesn't require us to be enough in order to be with him. Extending the welcome to others communicates this generous acceptance that God graces on all of us. This is the work that we do as a ministry, to create spaces where you are welcomed and where you are invited to know God's love.

God Meets My Need

Q: Life can be really hard and it doesn’t seem like God is actually providing for my needs. What now?A: Dear reader, I (Brandon) resonate deeply with this experience! You are not alone! It reminds me of a scene in the television show “The Office,” where the lonely and hated HR director, Toby, musters up the courage to enter a church and talk to God. At first he approaches respectfully, but then he honestly blurts out, “Why you gotta always be so mean to me!?”
