“The welcome is enough” is based on the truth that God created out of love and graciousness with no need whatsoever. The reason God made you is because He wanted you to exist purely out of graciousness and love. There was no requirement and no need on His part.

You're really, really fabulous. You are really important to God.

“The welcome is enough,” is simply recognizing that everybody's like that. That everybody I see deserves to be met as if I were meeting Christ, welcomed into my life as if I were welcoming Christ. Because they're a beautiful, loved creation.

And they don't need to do anything or be anything to deserve that welcome. I don't need to do anything or be anything to deserve that welcome. God gives it to me graciously no matter what. So I can turn around and be generous with my welcome too. And it's a beautiful thing.
