In this engaging talk, Dale will provide an overview of Ignatius and his legacy, focusing in on the invitation to be transformed through an encounter and friendship with Jesus by praying Gospel stories. He will also help us explore the Ignatian concepts of desire, holy indifference, and being led in freedom and love.
Speaker Bio
Dale Gish is a protestant spiritual director whose life got taken over (in a good way) by Ignatian spirituality. He is the founder of The Ignatian Center, an organization dedicated to providing a full range of Ignatian offerings. He lives in San Francisco with his wife Debbie and two teenage daughters. Dale is a full-time spiritual director who has led over one hundred people through the Ignatian Exercises. He is also a trained supervisor of spiritual directors and leads the Ignatian Center's Ignatian training program for spiritual directors learning to offer the Ignatian Exercises.
