One of the things that Signpost Inn wants to do is create spaces where people feel welcome, where they don't have to qualify to be a part of our presence. I think that's the way God welcomes us and I think that's why we can welcome people the way we do, because we can be blessedly detached.

I can be happily detached from how you think of me, or whether my performance is enough, or whether what I have to give you is enough, because the welcome itself is enough. Just the fact that somebody wants you, that somebody's looking for you, that somebody smiles when you walk in the door, that's enough.

That's enough to communicate the grace that God has for us. The grace that He delights in me, that He wants me. And that he wants you the same way. God with his entire being is for you. He wants you. That's what it means to be him.

And I think that's a big part of Signpost Inn Ministries. It's not necessarily teaching, it's not correcting, it's just being for.
